25 Journalling Prompts for Improving Your Relationships & Strengthening Boundaries

In the world of well-being and self-improvement, we often discuss boundaries and how important they are with maintaining healthy relationships.

Boundaries help to communicate (both to ourselves and others) how we want to be treated and what type of respect we deserve.

Journalling can be an amazing tool in uncovering any potential boundaries that we need to set - especially in our relationships with others.

This is why we've crafted this list of 25 journalling prompts, to help you understand and improve your relationships with loved ones, while also strengthening your boundaries.

These prompts can be used alone and individually, or in combination with a more structured journalling experience, such as one of our guided journals —shop them now!

How to use these prompts

As with all types of journalling prompts and exercises, try to be as transparent as possible. This will help you really get to the root of the issue and identify any hidden triggers that may impact your relationships.

It may feel very exposing (I know it often does for me!) which is why I recommend completing these on a piece of paper or journal that you trust won't be read by anyone else.

This should aid in honesty too, as you won't feel like anyone can judge you or your answers.
